DONT BUY SPAR PEANUT BUTTER

Despite informing "Eleck" (the Store Manager) on Sunday ****h April 2021) and him Informing "Cicil" the rep on Tuesday 13th , and me logging a complaint of the Spar website on Sunday 11th April 2021 about a "DANGEROUS" failure of the "tamper proof" lid on Spar brand sugar free peanut butter. The product is still on the Shelves.

After calling the store on Tuesday 13th at 1:07pm and getting many excuses as to why "they Eleck & Cicil" cannot remove the product from the shelves - I advised them I am going public now.

It is possible for ANYONE to TAMPER with contents. This is a potentially LETHAL failure of the Spar Brand products.

So Further Updates on the matter.
I further followed up by calling the Spar Warehouse in Cape Town on the 13th April 2021 at 1:40pm where I spoke to Monique Willis. She advised me that she will raise the issue with customer care.

As of the 14th April 2021 I have not heard anything yet. At 11am on the 14th April 2021 I called Monique again. She was surprised that I had not been contacted yet. And again undertook to contact customer care.

Finally Spar Head Office called me yesterday (15th April 2021 at 14:17pm).

Glenda wanted to confirm the bar cade (***), Man Date (30/10/2020), BB Date (30/4/2022), Batch ***)

She advised me that the “Spar Brands Team” is in the office below and she considers the “Matter Very Serious”.

9:37 am 15th April 2021 – No Further info.

A potentially “lethal” product is still on the shelves more than 4 days after informing Spar.
