Disgusting service delivery
I'm actually disgusted by the service I experienced yesterday (03 September 2019) at Spar Soshanguve Crossing.
I went to Spar to go buy aqueous cream bp and other things (the one with a blue lid and a grey container) for my baby. As I walked in the store I wanted to know if they do have that type of aqueous cream. As I walked in I saw a lady who worked there, I approached her and asked her if I can withdraw in the store. She was busy putting airtime on her phone she rep**** and said yes with and irritated tone. Then I asked her about the aqueous cream, she looked at me and gave me an attitude asking me how is she suppose to know. While she had a lot to say I left and cut her short, she proceeded with being busy with her phone and airtime and a newspaper that was next to her.
I went to look for the manager by the name of Patrick they said he was not available, I requested for a supervisor or an assistant manager they said they are not available. I struggled to find someone I could raise my complaint to because people where scared to direct me to the right person.
I finally found someone who directed me to a gentle by the name of Tshidiso (not sure about the name but I know his face.) I told him what happened and he said they'll talk to her and fix the problem. I asked that they fix the problem in my presents as I expect an apology from her rudeness.
We went to the lady as she was busy reading her newspaper unbothered by the level of service as it was packed that day. When I confronted her about the situation in the presents of the gentleman she denied everything and said she spoke to me properly, I'm overreacting, it went as far as us exchanging words to a point where other customer's could hear us. She didnt apologies instead she said I'm disrespecting her. After all that the gentleman asked that I calm down and that they will deal with the situation. He then mentioned that I'm not the first one to raise a complaint about her the have been other constumers who have complained about her but they cant call her to order because his a family member with the owner of the Spar (Mr Maluleka) so whenever they talk to her she plays the family card. I told her I'm going to report her she told me to go ahead because she's not scared. When I left the shop another old lady approached me and told me that she had experienced the same service from her but she was afraid to talk because she didnt know who to talk to.
I ask that you deal with this situation as she is rude towards customers and rubs a very bad name to the Spar Soshanguve Crossing staff. The lady's name is Lita Maluleka who is a front-end supervisor.
I would be happy to hear how the matter was resolved or should the be any information required from my side I would be glad to provide. My contact details are ***. As I await to hear from the team.
