DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR AND I MUST LEAVE MY CHILD OUTSIDE LIKE A DOG

I visited Spar Queensmead Mall in Umbilo this morning to buy a few essentials and had my 7 year old daughter with me as I had noone to look after her this morning. We are on lockdown after all. My daughter had a mask on and gloves and was made well aware to stay away from other people. The store was also very quiet and that is why I went early, so as to avoid alot of people. I was very rudely and abruptly told that I had to leave my child outside if I wanted to enter the store. Now bear in mind there is no signage to state that children are not permitted. As much as I fully appreciate the gravity and seriousness of the situation our country and the world find themselves in, please advise me how I am supposed to feed my child if I cannot enter the store with her when there is noon else to watch her at home? Do I A. let my child starve? B. Leave her alone at home? C. leave her standing unattended and alone outside while I enter the store? In a country where violence against children and child abduction, **** and ****** are prevelant, please tell me how you expect for me to leave my 7 year old daughter standing alone outside of the Spar? Should the Spar not take into account that there may be parents who do not have anyone to watch their children? I cannot take my child to anyone else's house as we are on lockdown. So I let her go hungry now instead? Or risk something horrible happening while I leave my child alone outside? Should the store's not have a designated area where children can sit and be watched by a Security Officer within the store, while the parents quickly grab the essentials they need? And the rude manner in which I was told I either leave her outside or go home was ludicrous. I do not have a vehicle to drive to other neighborhoods to go to the shops. I am now left explaining to my child why I could not buy her food and she now has to remain hungry. I am deeply troubled by the fact that we have to potentially sacrifice our children and leave them alone and at risk in these times. What happens to single mothers with even smaller children? Do they also get left outside alone? My child is not a pet I can tie to a pole and make to wait for me. I tried calling the Spar in question and was only given two options of departments to be put through to or to hold and tried all options and the calls were repeatedly cut. I eventually called the head office and was told that each store has different owners. I am disgusted by the treatment we received and I don't see why I have to be discriminated against and I have to be forced to leave my child alone and vulnerable to predators in order to feed her. Especially when I made sure to have her wear gloves and a mask.
