Die Boord Spar
I made contact on Monday 25 May 2020 in regards to how the manager on duty handled a discrepancy. This incident happened on Sunday 24th at about 12:30. Mark had been in contact with me, enquired my slip number, etc but I have not heard back from him since.
It is now Wednesday and I'm still awaiting this feedback.
I do my monthly and weekly shopping at your store and on Sunday I had found the large pot of Nutella at a pricetag of R39. As the small is normally R30-36 I didn't find this out of norm and though it was a nice saving. It actually crossed my mind to take x2. But when I got to the till point this item scanned R102. As I noticed I enquired this to find it's an incorrect price tag and the manager, Luzanda came to correct it. She just said "the large pot is R102", gave her card and walked away- whilst I was still talking. I told them, the cashier and a few other staff, that I should infact get the item at the price which is displayed on the shelf, according to the Consumer's protection Act. I work in retail myself so i am fami**** with this. Then, firstly, she acted out when she didn't even greet,2- she didn't apologize, 3- she walked away while a paying customer is still talking. And while I was complaining about this she was only a few feet away and didn't even bother any further.
I am deeply disappointed. I told Mark, I live in Jamestown, I work in Central Stellenbosch, I can do my shopping elsewhere but I prefer your shop as I normally find it pleasant. I infact referred an colleague to your shop during lastweek as i told her, especially in these times, it's usually well managed, clean, friendly and welcoming staff. But after my recent experience I'm not to sure.
