Chicken Slug Burger

<p>Last week Monday I had purchased a chicken burger from Spar in Observatory on Station Road. This burger was prepared as I was waiting, which means they had used ingredients from their Deli area. Upon eating the burger as I was about to bite into it for the 2nd time, a slug appeared amongst the lettuce. Meaning they had not washed it beforehand. I then contacted MY Spar through their Facebook page, their head office in Durban had contacted me the Wednesday saying someone from the branch would be giving me a call. It is now a new week, I followed up on Friday, it is now Tuesday and still no one has contacted me regarding this issue. As the closest supermarket in the vicinity to all businesses nearby, it is appalling that their Deli supp**** food is so unhygienic, it makes me question purchasing any "Spar Deli" products due to the standard of cleanliness their Deli staff possess when preparing the meals.</p>
