Cheese long past BB date on shelf

Once I bought cheese at Spar Craighall and on returning home noticed that the product was past its BB date. I noticed on two following occasions that there were cheeses that were past there BB date and today went to one of the store managers and pointed it out to him that some cheeses had passed their BB more than a week ago. What is more concerning is the general attitude of the store manager. He placed the cheeses one side but still in the display where other customers might just pick them up. He had a number of excuses for why they have these items which have long reached their BB date still on the shelf. They need to implement a much more effective system to ensure that items that have reached the BB date are removed? It hardly ever happens at PnP.
