Bought Sunday lunch from Superspar Wonderboom Junction kitchen

On 8 October 2023 I bought Sunday lunch for the family at Superspar Wonderboom Junction.

Two grilled chicken and asked specifically for 1 kilogram of fried chips.

The lady was very helpful and friendly as usual.

When I arrived home and started preparing for Sunday lunch, I realized that although the fried chips stated 1.0kg on the label, it felt a bit lighter and took out the kitchen scale. It only weighed 735 grams on my kitchen scale.

After lunch, I emailed the Spar on *** and attached the photos I took with my "please explain" note. This was the email address I found on the till slip. I did not hear anything from anyone at Superspar Wonderboom Junction yet.

This is concerning to me since I have bought a lot of food that was weighed on that specific scale...... I have supported this new Superspar since they opened, and this is the first complaint I have. Usually, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Even the guy at the butchery who would always say hello and try to help.

I would really like an explanation for this food weighing mishap.
