Bleached chicken, so the myth exists

We purchased chicken breasts from Northmead Spar only to realise that it actually has a pungent smell to it that is overwhelmed by a bleach smell. I am keeping the chicken frozen while I await Spar's response.Does these people not contemplate the extent of being legally challenged if my child had to be poisoned after eating this manipulated meat.
