Best Before dates

Always check the Best Before and Sell by dates on products, especially ready-to-eat/drink products such as pasteurized milk. I went into the Spar and bought milk that was on the last day of its BB date, however, at home found that it was already souring and undrinkable. Wisdom of hindsight dictates that even as this was the only milk on the shelves at the time, I should not have bought it !!! Any temperature abuse (and load-shedding) would shorten this date significantly!
