Barclays Square Manager Poor Customer Services

I bought 60 eggs this morning from Spar Barclays Square which have expiry date written 25/12/2019.

When I got home my wife start preparing breakfast which included the eggs. Unfortunately when she started cokings the eggs she found that they are rotten and have very bad smell, which left the entire flat smelling and my wife vomiting.

I immediately return the eggs to Spar Barclays Square and explained to the manager by the name of Quintin that my flat is having bad smell and my wife is vomiting uncontrollably because of the eggs which I have just bought.

His response was that they refunded me for the eggs I've returned without any questions and there is nothing they can do about the distress which they caused my family as Spar is not in disinfect business and refusing to take responsibility for the bad smell in my flat and the vomiting of my wife.
