Ballito Super Spar lifestyle pathetic customer service

My husband stopped at the Spar in Ballito today to get a few quick essentials. We had just spent some time on the beach nearby and decided to stop on the way so we could get home faster..

He bought a few items, one of them 30 spar branded eggs.. we got in the car and I reached in the packet to get the ice cream and I noticed something moving in the egg packaging, upon closer inspection I realised that it was maggots and immediately I phoned the store.. I was put through to a manager who after explaining that I don't live in the area and I don't visit the place often says to me unfortunately he cant help me. My husband then took over the call and was told that when we are back in the area we can bring the eggs back for an exchange.. what utter nonsense, this man expects us to drive from Phoenix to Ballito a place we hardly visit and keep rotting eggs until we visit again.

Terrible service, manager is a disgrace and most importantly pathetic customer service.
