Bad smelling chicken

Jip..I did it again. Bought some fresh chicken at the Spar around the corner from me. Expiry date was in order because I checked after buying chicken that was off from the same Spar twice before. As soon as I opened it at home I could smell it was off and all sticky. I didn't even bother to return it. They would just exchange it with no explanation. Last time I ask for an explanation I was told the fridges went off during the night but they did not explain why they did not took the chicken off the shelves. <br> Learned my lesson though. I going to miss walking with my daughter to Spar but would rather drive the extra 2km to PNP than shop there again. <br>
