Bad sliced cheese

I purchased some sliced cheese from Spar this evening. After using it on a hamburger roll, it had a very odd taste. After having a look at the packet, I found that most of the sliced cheese packets had mold on them. Even the packet inside had mold inside. I felt really sick afterward knowing I ingested the cheese. The expiry date on the cheese is 23 September 2023.
