BAD FISH

My hubby and I decided to treat ourselves to fish and chips at the Spar Protea Heights, Brackenfell. We were so looking forward to that. Sorry to say, we waited exceptionally long, and when we opened the take away at home, the chips was fine, but both portions of the hake were awful. They were shrunk and hard from over frying. I nearly broke my tooth on the batter it was so hard. The fish itself was also rubbery from being over fried. It was really gross. This was on friday night (23/05/25). I went back to that spar on saturday morning with my slip and a left over piece of the fish. Was asked to write my name on the back of the slip + my contact number as the manager was not available till the monday. Was reassured they would contact me. Till today, nothing. I called them today, asked to speak the manager, was put on hold and no one came to the phone. Not pleased with this whatsoever. That no one can face an unhappy client. To think I refer my friends, colleagues and family to that Spar for their take away foods..... well... no more.
