Bad Customer Service - RUDE STAFF MEMBER!

I have tried getting hold of the store manager, whom I have now been informed is Sean (no surname was provided).

This is regarding an incident with a particular staff member. Myself and my husband were entering the store and did not see any trolleys inside at the time, so we took one from outside. We then realised that the turnstile could move. So as I moved it for my husband to push the trolley threw, out of nowhere a staff member, whom I was later told is Tinashe, grabs the trolley away from my husband and said we cant use the outside trolleys, and that we cannot just do what we just did....and proceeded to say take that trolley there....which a gentleman had just pushed to the end of the till.

My husband, asked him what difference is it going to make as we were already inside with the trolley and proceeding to push the turnstile back into place when he approached. So he just looked at my husband, walked away and shook his head. My husband was so agitated at this time, we just entered without a trolley and ended up not shopping as we initially intended.

This was a very unpleasant and embarrassing experience. If it weren't for the fact that I really needed the items that we purchased, then we would have turned around and left.

I can however assure you, that this will be the last time we shop at the Simonsrust Superspar in Stellenbosch.

Regardless of this email being sent to the Store Manager twice, he did not bother to respond, which tells me that the issue will not be addressed with the staff member, and therefore there is a 100% chance that the situation can repeat itself with another customer.
