Bad Business Practice

We lost our car keys at Spar Wonderpark Pretoria around 2 o'clockish yesterday the 17th January 2018. As we were about to pay for our groceries we established the key was missing and we went to the side where there is g****s which was the last place we had the key. Going back there we spoke to a gentleman by the name Freedom who claims to have seen the key and kicked it but does not know where he kicked it to . We went around the g****s section unpacked everything to no key. Our next best solution was to view the security footage to see where Freedom might have "kicked" the key to. We were told the person responsible was not available and we can't view the footage . We couldn't get help so our next move was to break into the car and make another plan as we felt the security of the vehicle was compromised. Now I have a few questions around whats happening at this SPAR. Before I can ask let me bring it to your attention that Warrant Officer Dzuma from Rosslyn Police Station mentioned that there are several reported incidents from that SPAR and unfortunately when it does not have an element of crime they can't get involved. They have no Jurisdictions to request the store to review CCTV footage since it is not reported as crime. My questions now. 1. How does the store operate with staff that kicks things around in the store? 2. Does this SPAR have code of ethics ( If you see something that seems to belongs to a customer report it via the P.A system)? 3. What happened to customer centricity ? 4. I am not being xenophobic but when I ask a staff member to assist me and then they start discussing my issue in a foreign language ( The language was not one of the 11 official languages ) I have a problem because I need to hear what they are saying ?( Not a question but a concern). 5. How does a store have a CCTV camera but no personnel to operate it? I will be much at ease if I can be shown the CCTV footage so that I can feel free to visit this store again . I now have a fear of driving my car in that area since I have lost my keys around my area and fearing that the person might just drive away with my car. Finally I have a Labour relations issue (EEA related) with this store in particular but I hope the Department of Labour will be the one responsible for this as I plan to approach them for my observations about the personnel in the store. After what the police in Rosslyn told me I don't think I can recommend this store to anyone ( I am sorry ) it seems like a future no go area.
