Angry Client
At my are we recently had a power problem/upgrade so I took the initiative of braaing chicken and bread for the family as we never had a back up generator. Our food needed salad ofcourse and we made our way to the Spar in Southernwood East london and I dished out food for my family. On the course of eating I found the salad was smelling sour and then asked my partner to taste hers as she came out of the shower and she also reaponded in agreement as to my tasting. We decided to go to spar to tell them what the problem was and when we got to the cashiers one of them (Amanda) told us the manager was not there and we should wait for the supervisor (Lucian) .. Lucian told us the manger was there and that we had to wait as he was closing "Tops" ... Ananda communicated to the Supervisor that we wanted a refund which we never asked for as our whole plates we ruined as we did not know what pathogens were lurking I the sour salad So I stopped her by asking her if we had told her that we wanted a refund or speaking to the manager. The manager came and he told us the food was sour and that the are no hazardous implications there of and asked us if we wanted a refund and we rep**** no as from the first place we were not listened to as consumers with rights. We then proceded for asking for our payslip and we took out plates and left as angry as we were. They have failed in customer service and to have failed in checking stock freshness and I would like to speak to someone above and hear what the solution to them keeping their take aways fresh as Iam a regular and this was not my first time buying old/expired food from them
