Always wrong pricing at the tills

<p>I frequently shop at Spar in Umhlanga Rocks and because I am unemployed and on a very very tight budget, I check prices before I buy. Most times there is either one or maybe two discrepancies on the prices that are displayed on the shelves and what is rung up on the tills. When I point this out to the cashier, they call the supervisor. She generally has a bad attitude and challenges me on the pricing. When we have checked and I am right, no apology is offered and she deducts the difference off and goes off. I suppose to her and the normal shopper a 4 rand difference in a product is nothing but to me that could buy me a potatoe or an onion. Yesterday I bought a packet of Spar microwave popcorn marked on the shelves at 11.99 and when I got home and checked the price scanned, it had scanned at 15.99. I should have checked at the till but I was in a hurry. I am really concerned that this seems to be the norm at Umhlanga Spar and no one is taking steps to ensure that it doesnt happen. I know that Pick n Pay offers you the product free and Woolworths as well but unfortunately Spar seems to feel that this is not a serious issue. </p>
