ADVERTISED PRICES NOT REFLECTING ON SYSTEM

On 5 February 2015 we went shopping at Spar. A product were advertised for R 7.49, but when we got to the till it was marked R 11.99.

We informed the cahier, whereafter she ignored us. I asked her whether she heard us, whereafter she said yes she did, and then ignored us further. I asked her whether they plan to do something about it, whereafter she just laughed and looked at her co-worker next to her. She acted like we were being unreasonable in our request and treated us without the basic decency. She then continued to ignore us.

We went to the manager who offered to correct the problem. We explained that it is not about the R 4.50, but the principle behind every other person who has been caught this way. How can a company advertise products but fail to rectify the prices on their system????
