Poor service Spar Vorna Valley

Went to purchase a few items on 27 April 2025 around 10h00. Went to the till to pay, cashier just walked away without saying anything leaving us waiting and dumbfounded for about 5 mins.

When she returned asked her why she did that, she responded by asking, what must she say, with an attitude. What kind of treatment is this!-Abandon your position and don't tell the customer anything seems to be ok.

Management was called, a male didnt even listen to what we had to say and then said void our purchase and we were asked to leave.

This Spar is disgusting and have exceptionally poor service and very racial. Had about 10 experiences in the past, overlooked it in optimism but this was the last straw. Seen others were given similar poor treatment and service.

Pull your store video footage around 10h15 on the day of the incident if you have the courage and to fix the incapable staff you employ.

From being spoken to in unbelievable vulgarity by the cashier and no action taken or said to the cashier.

This is how people that support the brand are treated.

Most likely nothing will be done..but the videos will circulate and then let see how the brand will respond!

Customers may not always right ( and this is definitely not the case) but should be treated with respect!

In this case and most experiences in that store.. there's definitely a issue and appalling customer service.

The manager did not want to give his name and departed showing his incapability.

The cashier name was hiding her name also.

The only willing person there was Olwethu who was instructed by the male manager to not assist us. He took the goods away.

You may reserve the right to serve or not serve customers Spar Vorna Valley, but not to disrespect or discriminate. There are tons of other outlets which are much more deserving of more revenue and provide better service and customer experience.

Get your act together Spar Vorna Valley.. this will affect your share price and is despicable and will be escalated!
