Paying for damaged goods

I bought a Royal brand kettle at Seven Oaks Superspar in Lusikisiki on the 16 of March I used for 2 days on the 3rd it started to trip the electricity and I took it back to the store . The lady who attended me told the manager what I was complaining about the manager told her she should plug the kettle first and see if it will trip the electricity mind you the domestic electricity and a business electricity are not the same. Eventually he told her to give me a new one same brand, he told the lady that she must tell me that I won't be getting my till slip because they have to go and claim the kettle from where they bought it. And I must know should the kettle have the same problem I won't be able to return it again. Now the new kettle is tripping the electricity again. I don't know what I should do.
