Soviet Viper sneakers disintegratng after 5 months !!!!

I purchased a pair of Soviet Viper sneakers or my son in August 2018. He has only worn them a few times to University. This weekend I washed them, and the backs are disintegrating. I am appalled at the poor quality of these shoes. I certainy expected shoes made by a quality brand like Soviet to be of a much better quality than this - given that they are 5 months old, and have only been used for the purpose they were designed for, and not for football games etc.
