I Payed Gert a deposit for a ZOZO hut he advertised on Gumtree. He made an excuse that his wife was in a car accident in Nelspruit and couldn't deliver the first weekend. The next weekend the panels was blown off his bakkie. He kept on offering a refund, which I requested eventually. End of July he disappeared off the face of the earth (phone not ringing, e-mails go un-answered). Shame on Gumtree and shame on Gert's girlfriend or common-law wife, Magdalena, in who's bank account I deposited the money from which it was transferred the next day. It is an ABSA account! I phoned them and they did not want to give her details to me. Shame on ABSA!
