Neglectful and nonchalant treatment in the pediatric ward

By far the worst state hospital that I have been to. My 2 year old son was admitted to the pediatric ward on Friday. The pediatrician on call seemed more concerned with finishing her rounds quickly than actually examining the children. The nurses on shift on Saturday neglected to give my son his IV when I questioned the doctor about this she first said she highly doubts that and then proceeded to tell me I should remind them. The doctor barely communicated with the mothers. She is very vague and spends no time actually discussing your child's condition with you. I chose to sign a refusal of treatment just to get my son discharged in fear that his condition would worsen over night. Mother's are not allowed to stay with their children overnight so you have to entrust your sick and defenseless child with people who quite frankly don't seem to care and are extremely apathetic. Babies are not comforted and out of all of the nursing staff only 2% of them could actually be bothered to fulfill their duties. I'm truly disgusted at the service delivery especially considering they are dealing with children and considering the fact that they will not allow mothers to stay the night to look after their children
