Completely disappointed

My grandfather has been submitted on Thursday 13/06/2024 for stage 4 lung disease. Before he went, he was still in good shape and Saturday as well. Sunday, we went to visit and all of the sudden he wasn't able to walk, talk and breath on his own. Monday morning a nurse called us telling us that we need to say bye to my grandfather as he is passing away. We get to the hospital and the security doesn't want us to come in and find out that the nurse made a mistake. Monday 2h00 we went for visiting hours and find him being tied to the bed. The ropes were so tight leaving my grandpas feet blue due to low blood circulation. They inject him 3 times a day with injections to make him sleep. Yesterday when we went to visit, we found huis mouth and lips extremely dry as he last got water when we gave him on Monday and extremely bad bruises on the legs and arms trying to break out from the ropes. On his left hand was the end of the drip covered with banged which led to him bleeding badly.

He was placed in the TB ward for his lungs, but woman and men were placed in the same room with a curtain hanging between them. Each time we ask to see his doctor his doctor isn't there and this morning while she was there and asked if we can come and see her, she said no we have to talk to her over the phone

For South Rand being one of the top hospitals in Johannesburg I am extremely disappointed about how they handle their patience
