Poor to no integrity and customer service.

I saw a vehicle advertised as excellent at this company and went to view it. I was told that the vehicle was accident free and that minor spray work was done on the front and rear bumpers. At the end of May I purchased this vehicle from Southgate wheels for cash and at the time when collecting the vehicle I listed a few minor issues that the vehicle required, constant pdc ****, automatic folding mirror not working and yellowed daylight driving light.

Prior to purchasing the vehicle, I requested a BMW check on the vehicle, which both the manager Andre and salesman, Keveshan said was done. They then told me that a scan of the vehicle was done, with no faults and that the report couldn’t be produced as the computer died due to load shedding. I took their word for it.

On collecting the vehicle, Keveshan told me he would make a booking for me to have the minor issues resolved. This never happened.

I used the vehicle for approx. 1500km when suddenly the entire vehicle would shudder abruptly under braking. I returned to Southgate Wheels with the vehicle to demonstrate the serious safety issue experienced with the car. I requested to see Andre the manager, who was not available, but after waiting for some time I eventually saw Keveshan and took him for a drive in the car to show him the behaviour.

He advised me that he would raise the matter with Andre and get back to me the following day at 10am.

On the next day, I called Keveshan at 11:33 to follow up on which he said he was still waiting for his manager Andre and would get back to me later that day.

At 16:23 I messaged Keveshan to follow up, but received no response although he read my messages.

Today I called Southgate wheels and Keveshan a couple of times, but was either transferred to the wrong person, to the mailbox or my calls to the salesman were not answered. I then left a message with the receptionist to ask Andre to return my call so we could address the serious safety issue. However, I feel that I have been given the run around and this will continue without resolution.

The customer device and integrity of this company is absolutely poor.

I get guarantee that a response will be sent by Southgate wheels, but I have no faith that the issues and defects will be addressed.
