Hello Peter Review (Detailed & Factual) Headline: Southwheel Gate: Dishonest repairs and broken promises I purchased a 2017 Kia Rio 1.4 EX from Southwheel Gate in October, only to be met with gross negligence. Misrepresentation: The car was not serviced; I found filthy filters despite a reset service light. The battery was 3 years expired. *********** Repairs: After reporting a minor noise, they kept my car for 6 days. Tracking shows they took it to a private residence, not a workshop. The car was returned with new faults: ABS light on, noisy bearings, and jerking. Financial Bad Faith: They refused to pay for professional repairs (Kia quoted R43k) and bul**** me into accepting a R10k contribution. They are now refusing to pay back a R4546.00 balance owed for 16 days despite me returning the old parts as requested. This dealership does not value safety or consumer rights.
