Cut and join sold as new vehicle
I bought a 2012 Polo vivo on the 14/02/2015. The sales rep told me that the vehicle was never in an accident. On May 2015 I noticed body filler on the rear, left & right hand side of the vehicle. When I took it back to the dealership, they said they will fix it. I told them that I don't want a fixed car, I want a refund. <br> I'm surprised that Mandy Sellars, from Auto Dealers Solutions (the company that checked the vehicle's condition and app**** for absa finance), could not notice that the vehicle is a cut & join. People who have been working with cars for years ! <br> The motor industry ombudsman also couldn't bring any response from the dealership. I guess people with more money can get away with selling cut & join vehicles.
It was a year later and it was difficult to assess if there was any accident damage before.
