DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH SOUTHGATE WHEELS Florida

I went to Southgate wheels on the 26th of October 2019. I spoke to the sales agent named Keveshan. He showed me the 2008 NP300 bakkie advertised with 63 338 km. The car was not started but he assured me everything is good. I specifically asked whether the air con is working to which he confirmed that it is in good working order. I made a payment and only afterwards were given a contract to which I was forced to sign stipulating the CPA is not applicable (only after payment was made!).

Delivery was supposed to be on Monday but only received the car on Tuesday. Also waited almost 3 weeks for the papers. Calls and messages gets ignored constantly.

The pick-up needed new shocks, ball joints and attention to the suspension.

THERE WAS NO AIR CON PUMP!!!! OR even piping yet I was told it is working! Sump was leaking oil with only a few *****s fitted. I was even told bakkie went through an inspection before delivery! What a joke!

Mileage also in excess of 600 000 and not 63 338 as advertised and as per sales agreement!

Don’t do business with Southgate wheels especially with Keveshan who WILL lie and deceit you just to make a sale. Afterwards calls and messages WILL get ignored. I have proof of messages, unanswered calls and delayed responses.

Matter will be taken up with MIOSA in due course.
