Worst encounter

On Friday 15 January at around mid morning I took the liberty of calling The Sandton Sun San Deck restaurant to secure a booking for two people. During my call I specifically mentioned that i would like to book a spot on the deck under the shaded umbrellas- the lady on the phone assured me that my booking was in place and further went to ask me what time they should expect us- I told her anytime from 15:00. To my disbelief I arrived at the San Deck restaurant with my spouse at 15:40- we were met by a black lady with dreadlocks- I informed the lady that I had made a booking earlier that day. This lady was extremely unfriendly and gave us very bad attitude. She went on to say that, they do not take bookings for two people and we should rather sit at the bar. I refused and told her that this is unprofessional and pathetic service given the fact that I called to secure my booking- needless to mention we left and will never set foot there again. I am very disappointed because I had planned to propose to my spouse on that day. I will inform all my friends and family to never go to San deck ever again..! I am very disappointed in this lack of professionalism and good customer service.
