What a terrible place to stay over

<p>I spent two nights at Southern Sun OR Tambo, and to say the least, was disgusted with absolutely every facet of my stay- service, food, room etc. When I arrived in my room for the first time, I recieved a call from the front desk. I was rather impressed, thinking that it is a courtesy call to welcome me. Instead, it was the lady telling me that I took her pen and should return it. In eneral, staff (at the restarant and also at the workshop I attended) was severely rude. At times my mouth was hanging open. The breakfast (I have some photos) was the worst I had in any hotel anywhere in the world (and I am well travelled). The food looked like it was prepared by someone off the street. My room was dirty and when I tried to shower, the entire cold water tap came out of the wall. I had to use the dustbin to fill the bath with cold water (obviously I couldnt shower either). The room had NO booklets or information sheets on restaurant hours, etc. I feel obliged to post this complaint, because Souther International OR Tambo is a hub for business men and travellers that need to stay over close to the airport. I feel ashamed if this is the impression they leave South Africa with. For the price one pays to stay this is a serious no-go. </p>
