Unfriendly staff

Utterly disgusted with Uhmlanga sands. As a person that loves to holiday and use the beautiful facilities of the resorts in Umhlanga. I am very upset at the treatment received by a pool guard on sunday morning at the Uhmlanga sands. I book very often at the Umhlanga sands but I'm afraid this will change due to the unfair treatment my family and I received. It was a usual busy sunday and with all due respect we understand that it gets hectic at the pool area and that the security has every right to check if people entering the pool area are residents of the umhlanga sands however this needs to be done in a RESPECTABLE MANNER. On our arrival to the pool area we were rudely stopped by the pool guard who before enquiring if we were residents at Uhmlanga sands resorted to just saying residents only to the pool area. After having explained to him that yes we are residents at the umhlanga sands resort we got a look of disgust from him and then him asking us for proof. After showing him the key to our room we then got told well that doesnt mean anything. We then asked him so what must we do to show him proof, he said nothing but and "urgh" and rolled his eyes at us. Mind you everyone else walking in never got rudely stopped. As if that wasnt enough of unfair treatment this guard had 2 waiters from the pool area come stand by the place that we were sitting to monitor us which I thought was absolutely ridiculous and unfair. A complain was sent to the reception immediately but I never received feedback or even an apology.
