Sun1 Hotel Alberton a Hotel from Hell

On Sunday the 13th of December 2015 at around 10pm myself and my wife checked in at the Sun1 in Alberton. We walked into the room and discovered a disgusting nose curling smell. We almost immediately went back down to reception to ask for a transfer to another room. The Person on duty at the time whose name was Anthony seemed to be high or drunk and was completely unhelpful. After an hour or so of arguing and trying to explain what we wanted he finally had a moment of clarity and agreed to transfer us but at that point it was too late. We were tired and wanted to leave. I asked for our money back and he refused. I asked for a voucher and he refused. All while this was happening Fox security had shown up to help. Fox security were very nice and helpful. They directed Anthony's attention to a sign that read no refunds unless it fell within the consumer protection act. Anthony could not read the sign. All while this was going other customers were also seeking help. Most of them were just as upset as us because Anthony would not let them check in. It was past 11pm and there were at least seven people in reception (more on youtube)
