Reliable comfort and service at Southern Sun Hotels and their Frequent Guest program

When in South Africa I always try to stay in a Southern Sun hotel, not only for the reliable service but also for the frequent guest loyalty program. Despite all that, I was still surprised by the high standards at 54 on Bath hotel where I spent my birthday this year. The birthday surprises, the room service and the excellent Level 4 restaurant chef (breakfast, dinner and High Tea) all contributed to a memorable stay. The manager called me to answer all my questions about the frequent guest benefits, a great loyalty program that is often underestimated in my view. Thank you for everything you did for us, 54 on Bath Hotel. You deserve your five stars. Finally I would just like to also mention the hotel that kept my membership of Southern Sun alive for many years of affordable but comfortable family sea vacations when our kids were small, which is where the relationship with Southern Sun became a permanent one: Century City Easystay. That one hotel chain can have two such vastly different hotels consistently delivering relationship-building service, is why Southern Sun is number 1 in a country where service standards are usually unreliable.
