Racial Profiling at Sandton Sun

The amount of racial profiling that happens at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. As a black man, you get asked by every second security guard whether you are staying at the hotel. While the white people enjoy free roaming unquestioned. I've visited this facility a couple of times to do business and meet with friends from outside the province, and EVERY single time, I get harassed by security. Just last week upon arrival, the security guard told me to go wait for whoever I'm waiting for (who happened to be a guest at the hotel) at the diamond walk entrance ??????? When the person came downstairs to fetch me, the procedure suddenly changed and I was allowed in. On questioning why I had to go to the diamond walk instead of waiting at reception like a normal person the security guard then rep**** in a very forceful tone that "because he is the one that operates that area and so that's how it will be" Meanwhile other people are being let in while I'm being interrogated like a ******** at the door. I now know because of places like Sandton Sun how apartheid must've felt like, but the most unfortunate part is that it was enacted upon by another black security guard who treated me like a ******** before I had even set in the place. I have thus advised all my black associates never to set foot in that racially charged building.
