Misleading adverti*****t

I’d like to make a complaint about ‘Stay Easy’ a Tsogo sun brand in Rustenburg. We made a booking through a 3rd party website called agoda.com. No issues for days we booked for were stipulated on any of the 3rd party booking sites. We got to the hotel Tuesday evening 30th November. Our first experience was with a lady receptionist who worked the shift before Joseph. She kept asking how and why our booking went through because they haven’t been having hot water, wifi and their pool wasn’t in a usable condition from Saturday.

The hotel is being advertised with services that they’re not offering however; you’re still required to pay the full amount plus tourism levies that are also not stipulated on the 3rd party websites or terms and conditions when you book. Had we known the problems they face currently, we would’ve considered alternatives before driving from a different province, we tried to find alternatives even as we got there but most of them were fully booked, so the options we had were to stay with ‘Stay Easy’ since they allowed us to book or to drive back to a different province late at night.

I’m disappointed with the misleading adverti*****t and the lack of empathy from Willie the manager at ‘Stay Easy Hotel’ concerning our complaint.
