Maharani Tripadvisor review as sad as the hotel

<p>If you look at the booking records of myself and my wife over say the last 7 years, you will see that we have stayed multiple times at least at 9 different Tsogo Sun hotels across the country.<br />Surely then you should be concerned that I want to stay at a competitor on my next trip to Durban?<br />This doesnt seem to be the case looking at the tripadvisor response from Maharani.<br />I did not really need an almost Smart Aleck response affirming my observation that Garden Court Marine Parade had been revamped.<br />My point was that regardless of the revamp, it does not give Maharani an excuse to be as low quality as it was. Hence us not finding it to be a value for money experience. REGARDLESS OF MARINE PARADE'S REVAMP, MAHARANI SHOULD STILL HAVE BEEN BETTER IN EVERY WAY DUE TO IT BEING A 4 STAR HOTEL.<br />1. The reaction on seeing the room was that of disappointment as it was of a 3 star standard and that the furniture was old and drab. The cupboard was also a bit ridiculous as you couldnt properly hang anything long without folding it. It was not a 4 star experience.<br />2. The bathroom had a poor quality content of soap and shampoo. Sure there was enough of it, but really, it felt cheap and did not even have a good fragrance.<br />3. Breakfast was also mediocre- poor selection of cereals. I would have expected more.</p> <p>Surely a company like Tsogo Sun should be interested in Brand Loyalty? Isnt it easier to keep us happy and only choosing the Tsogo Sun brand as opposed to disappointing us?</p> <p>Doesnt look like it- You would much rather chase me somewhere else.</p>
