Inquiry disaster

We check in to a hotel, get changed for the awards then next thing we come back, they won't let us in because of a payment not reflecting, this is at 2am. We show them an sms from the bank but they still don't allow us in. After an hour when I leave to book elsewhere they want to call the manager, like really?? And hour later..
