Horrible attitude and lack of friendly service

Easy Stay Southern Sun (Mbombela)

On the 4th of November 2024, my workplace booked me at this hotel for one night (4-5).Little did I know what would greet me.I arrived at from Jhb tired (from the heat not the flight itself which is relatively short)…and asked reception for something to drink (juice)because it was hot outside …40 degrees.The personnel told me to walk to pick and pay and buy they don’t have.Ok I understand…economic pressures that the country is confronted with!!!Then proceeded to go to my room to work in preparation for the following day.The air conditioner was not switched on so I improvised and used my mini fan. Later,in the evening the heat was not subsiding plus I needed to iron my blouse.I decided to call reception a few times and no one was responding.I then took it upon myself to go down stairs and request assistance on how to operate the air con because I didn’t see a remote for it and borrow their iron.When I got to reception got this lax employee who said”no our operating lines”are not working, she will send someone up for the iron.A few minutes later, the lady came did even greet and said went straight to press the button for the aircon and said “when you done with the iron put it outside now”.I am still shell shocked and asking myself how would be the breakfast be like.The attitude here is despicable and would recommend people to stay here.This is in addition to their mediocre tv service channels with no lotions at their bathrooms.I would no come back here no promote this place.Thank goodness I am leaving tomorrow!!!
