Filthy sanitary towels at the pool and pathetic hotel staff

My husband and I were on holiday at Caledon spa, during the December holidays. While at one of the pools, my daughters noticed a trail of blood along the wall and 4 dirty sanitary towels, I immediately notified the hotel staff and spa staff to which they said they would go and have a look and clean it up. Firstly, as a 4 star establishment you should have ensure that the pools surrounding are clean before guest use the facilities,it’s unhygienic and totally unacceptable.2 days later the filthy sanitary towels still remained with 2 shoved into a tree next to the pool. What infuriates me I was treated as though It’s not such a big deal, And it will be dealt with which it wasn’t. I’m soarly disappointed as I feel this is totally unhygienic and unacceptable. I’ve notified the social media team to which they said the hotel would get back to me, which they haven’t. I’ve received no response. (A stand in manager contacted my husband regarding his survey answers- to which she said that the hotel is not responsible or liable for it, as it isn’t their fault) I refuse to accept that it’s not their fault as a manager you are suppose to ensure the safety of your guests. Clearly you don’t care about paying customers safety .Seriously would not recommend Caledon spa after this.
