Elangeni sucks!!

If a town/city has a Tsogo Sun hotel, that's where I stay and that has always served me well -until now. Stayed at Elangeni. Terrible experience. I got to the hotel tired and wanted to shower and sleep - no hot water in the room. Called front desk, no answer. I finally fall asleep at about 2am having arrived at midnight. They wake me up at 5am because they want the iron. They can call me but they ignore me when I call. They finally move me to another room. They don't give me a key card. I call to ask for one, the lady at the desks says "we don't have a porter at the moment". You believe this ****?? To top it all off I come back to the hotel at around 18:00. Bed not made. Bathtub not cleaned. Nothing done except to place a bottle of water in the fridge. The annoying thing is that I have to go back to Durban next week. I cannot go back to this hotel. Elangeni should be removed from the Tsogo Sun portfolio. I hated it. Only redeeming thing is the staff in the dining room. Very friendly and hospitable. You'd think it's a totally different place
