I loathe complaining, but I hate being discriminated against even more. I was ignored, looked down upon, treating with disregard and disdain against by your front desk staff, Ziyanda and a male member, who might have been security in a black suit. A colleague of mine, who was staying at your Hyde Park Sun hotel had left a marked package for me at your reception on the 27 September. When I got there to pick up, your front desk staff, one of them being Ziyanda, and the other a male, blatantly ignored me on arrival. Ziyanda proceeded to help a white client who arrived after me. I patiently waited, the security went to the back to call upon another staff member to come and assist them in front. When that member arrived, she then went to her computer and fiddled with papers as opposed to assisting me who by that time I was now leaning onto your front desk. The male staff member then walked out. When there literally was no one left to attend to, then Ziyanda turned to me, without greeting and asked what I was there for. I told her. She asked for my name, I told her, then gave me the envelope with my name written on it, without a word.
