Bitten by Bed Bugs During My Stay
I was bitten by bed bugs during my stay at Southern Sun The Marine, Port Elizabeth, in October 2025 at and had to insist on being moved to another room. The hotel said both rooms were fumigated, but I haven't received proof as requested. Although the receptionist apologised, the issue was taken very lightly and even laughed about. No compensation or assistance was offered for the bites. Overall, the experience felt unhygienic and disappointing.
