Beacon Island where service is a laughing matter?

My wife and I booked a stay at the resort after I was hospitalized with a very bad health scare. I was hospital bound for our anniversary and she really tried to get me to feel better and relax. Plettenberg bay is a really beautiful place so she booked us in at Beacon Island. My stay and anniversary was spoilt though when we were snubbed for being shown to our room and I had to carry my own luggage up flights of stairs ...maybe I didn't look rich enough since others were being helped. The next day we visited town only to come back and be told there is no parking. I told them that we are booked into the resort...surely there should be parking and I took it up with reception. The woman at reception was extremely rude and made it out that it was my problem and she became a smart **** with me. I told her I expected better since it is a 4 star advertised resort of which she laughed it off. I told her then I would have to give it a one star and she continue to give me attitude...now i'm just one person and I know the world doesn't revolve around me , I am also not entitled , but I hope this review opens the eyes of their management and others because that impressive building is pretty from the outside but inside they will laugh in your face. The customer is always right except on Beacon Island.
