South Point Complaint

I was visiting my friend at South Point student accommodation, went out late not knowing when the visiting hours stop. When I went out, they didn't want to give me my ID back and they told me I should pay R200. I can't pay the R200 because I am a student coming from a disadvantage background without money. I really need my ID back and I don't know what to do.
