Terrible Service

<p>My friends and I visited south downs on 22 Jan 2017. Spoke to Cecil on the 18th Jan 2017. I asked him to book us the special for R800 for a fourball and carts. He advised that the special was from 11:30 onwards which I then asked him to book us for that time, he then said that no one had called to book hence the course would be empty so I would not need to book. I then said to him that I am booking because of the special and we need carts as we did not want issues with that reagrding the carts, he then said I need not worry and they can accommodate us. We get there at 11:25, Cecil is not on duty and the guy who is on duty( cant remember his name) says we cannot get the special as there are no carts available, we could hire private carts at an extra cost(not acceptable) but because we were alread there and made the trip all the way we had to pay. He then said we can tee off immidiately as I booked, we get to the first hole and guys just jump in front of us. I went back to him and he says then just start at the 10th hole. That was the worst service I have experienced at a golf course, The fact that I booked especially for the special was not taken into consideration and therefore extra costs were incurred and also our game was spoilt because of the way we were treated.
