Car 'Guards' misnamed
This is the second time within a fortnight that I have had reason to leave my favourite shopping centre without tipping the car guards. On both occasions, I found a group of uniformed young men standing around some unoccupied bays, laughing and talking, ignoring customer needs until they hear a car start. Then they move like greased lightning, with their hands out for a tip. I use a collapsible walking aid, and park in the Disabled bays. They idly watched me struggle with parcels etc never even greeted me, let alone offered to assist me in loading the car. But, sure as sure, one gentleman suddenly appeared as I was ready to leave, hands out, awaiting a generous tip for doing absolutely nothing. Whoever got this Parking Security contract should be monitoring their employees' poor performance.
