Outrage

I am fed up with this process and hate to be this person but I’m not sure how else to get their attention. South African Relocations have given us a horrible experience relocating from Cape Town to Perth.

Pick up in Cape Town was amazing! A team of very capable men packed up our entire house in 1.5 days right before Christmas!

From then on the experience has been utterly disastrous. We were told to expect our shipment 6-8 week (10 weeks max as is a busy period) which is fair enough. Come February still no shipment but a new bill for R5K because the port taxes had changed…. Ok fine, we understand that these things happen but we’re really annoyed as if it had left when they had told us there would not have been this problem.. but nonetheless we paid as we didn’t want to hinder the process of getting our family possessions to us.

May 22nd our stuff finally arrives! We were delighted! 2 days later our fridge blows up due to water damage (from being on a ship for several months)

We have been chasing South African relocations for an insurance claim to which we have had ZERO replies. We have phone and emailed multiple people within the company with no response.

This morning I received and email NOT in response to our insurance claim, they are saying we OWE THEM A FURTHER R3K. I mean the audacity you have to say we owe you is unfathomable.

Please NEVER use this company. We are outraged.
