OK, but lucky I don't have to use them again

I had a small load of goods from an inheritance; stuff that had been in my family 'forever' and held sentimental value only. The packing staff seemed to do a great job but we found breakages of crockery on delivery - the most expensive and irreplaceable dinner set was packed at the bottom of a box and arrived smashed. The company SA Relocations use in Australia, Star Moving, add extra costs without any explanations but have you over a barrel because if you don't pay, they don't deliver! Ended up paying nearly $600 for what I don't know. Packed in December 2022 and arrived in June 2023!
