Incredible Service

We are finally in the process of unpacking.... This move has been the biggest we have ever made and so, from the very beginning we knew we had to make the best decisions we could, regarding the assistance we chose for our 'journey'. That is besides the 'elephant in the room" - Covid 19 has turned the world as we know on its head and certainly lends more uncer*****y to an already tense situation ie any move. My husband met with several companies, yet he kept on coming back to SA Relocations. I, being the family cynic went straight to the reviews and obviously had some concerns. Sharon Tiltman, International Sales Manager for SA Relocations, has great faith in the company she represents (which helped) and gave us realistic feedback - no sales 'over promises', just good old fashioned amazing service and assistance every time we had a concern and this applies to Bianca and others in the office too. When the packing team finally arrived, we of course were as ready as possible but with Martinus at the helm they were just incredible. Industrious and respectful of our worldly goods and shackle's, which went a long way to making us feel comfortable with them in our home. They are obviously a hand picked team who is used to frantic, over sensitive home owners. As I mentioned above, we are currently at the end of this journey... in the process of unpacking....we have never seen such care in the wrapping of goods as we are experiencing, box by box!!! So, to Martinus, Andrew, Kelvin, Zolani, Trevor, Deny and Andeli, thank you guys!!!!! Martinus, Kelvin and one other person (I am sorry, I just cannot remember the name) also, we have to mention, found a much loved bracelet of mine behind a chest of drawers and pointed it out to me. What a blessing that was!!! So, of course, we left in the deep of a terrible lockdown - flights a mess, cancellations, uncer*****y about even being able to leave and facing all sorts of unknowns etc BUT our goods were safely in storage and thankfully could be 'forgotten'. We initially organised 3 months storage with SA Relocations, in South Africa and had to request an extra month as we had not been able to find suitable accommodation in time. So when it was time for the goods to be sent, South African Relocations had to, on their side, start the procedure of finding a carrier ship, repack all the box's into a 20ft container amid uncer*****ies of it all fitting in (we had changed our initial plan of taking a 40ft unit), and.... weather a storm which sent them back to their base, (the harbour having been closed due to the severity of the storm - which was reported on in the news) etc. Once that was sorted, we could follow the real time process of the ship all the way to Rotterdam and then to Edinburgh. The partner company who took delivery of the container in Edinburgh, Purdie World Wide were just as amazing! In short, we have experienced: - Honest, reliable service - Pleasant, helpful staff - Respect shown for our goods - Open communication at all times - Competitive rates - Every box accounted for - Accomplishment of the task during one of the most difficult times of this century

I guess in this volatile time and considering the difficult industry they have embraced, things may at times be far from perfect, however, from having had my reservations, I have to admit, this company has far, far outweighed any negatives that they could fairly have used as excuses. They have proved themselves more than competent and fully deserving of their place in the sun!! We warmly commend South African Relocations for a job well and successfully done and 100% recommend them!!!
